Our Beginning
Our journey began in a "rehearsal studio" in a closet-sized storage space in Queens with just drums, bass, and keyboard. With a little reshuffling and a much-needed studio upgrade, we became the five-piece groove machine that we are.
Our Vision
We aim to conjure the warmth and soul of the doo-wop and motown eras, mixed with the funk of disco, grit of rock n' roll, and the humor of today- a tall order that keeps us growing!
Our Future
We are folding in new members to help fully realize the vision. We recently started playing with Perry on soprano saxophone and plan to add to our horns section soon. We also are beginning to work with some talented backup vocalists to really get that dreamy feel.
What about new releases?
We recently recorded our first single: Head Rush, which is currently in the mixing stage. In the meantime, we look forward to releasing a live EP from our session at WHPC radio sometime in the fall. Stay tuned!
